About LuAir

A practice built on two decades of regulated data.

LuAir is built on a conviction: data governance fails when it's delivered as documents and committees, and works when it's installed as a running operation. Everything we offer — the operating model, the delivery method, the tooling — exists because we run it ourselves first.

Founder

Gabriel Lujan

Gabriel spent over twenty years inside global asset management firms doing the work most governance programs only describe: certifying critical data elements on enterprise data platforms, building and enforcing data quality frameworks, and delivering the data side of regulations like Dodd-Frank and MiFID II. He led teams of eight to ten through certification programs, partnered business with IT through an ETF platform launch, and spent his early career as a systems analyst and programmer — which is why LuAir's methods assume specifications should be precise enough to build from.

That career produced a specific frustration: governance that lives in binders decays, while governance that lives in a working operation compounds. LuAir is the answer — an operating model where capability is installed rather than presented, and a delivery method where every line of software traces to a rule someone owns. Both are proven the way everything at LuAir is: built as working systems, validated through prototypes and real sprints, and run on our own operation before being offered to anyone else.

Gabriel holds a B.S. in Computer Science from California State University, Fullerton.

What the practice covers

Where LuAir works.

01

Data operations & governance

Critical data certification, quality rules and frameworks, ownership models, issue resolution — installed as working capability inside your team.

02

Business analysis & specification

Requirements decomposed into owned business rules and machine-checkable use cases — specifications precise enough for a developer or an AI to build from.

03

Governed AI delivery

AI accelerating specification, code, and validation — under the same rules, approvals, and audit trail as any human contributor.

04

Regulated-industry readiness

Built in financial services, where "show me why" is a daily question — and transferable anywhere audits, regulators, or risk teams ask it.
